The Isaac McCoy Papers are located on microfilm within the History Lab. The papers include correspondence and documents written by Isaac McCoy, a minister and missionary. McCoy lived among Native Americans and advocated for their removal from tribal lands in an attempt to prevent the numbers of Native Americans to continue to dwindle. He raised funds and created programs to try to establish a sovereign Native American colony in land area set aside by the United States for Native Americans.
