The History Lab has books on Robertson’s Colony for students to use. Robertson’s Colony was a settlement in Texas before the Mexican-American War created by the Texas Association and managed by Sterling Clark Robertson. The colony began with the Leftwich grant and would eventually become Austin’s Colony. The colony was meant to settle 800 families into Texas, but Robertson was only able to introduce around 600 families.
